Stand large bar clamps in table-saw miter slots
Slots help clamps stand up, enabling a variety of glue-ups.I’ve got a set of medium-duty Jorgensen bar clamps (F-style), and I found that their end jaws slide nicely into the T-style miter slots on my power tools (on both my SawStop table saw and Powermatic bandsaw). This stands the clamps up nicely, making a variety of glue-ups quicker and easier. It’s like having a spare set of hands. To add more clamps, raise the workpiece by laying clamping cauls across the clamp heads that are in the miter slots. Alternatively, you could add clamps with smaller jaws.
