The side panels have integral legs cut into the bottoms and hold all the joinery for the case. There are two distinct sections to this piece, the drawer assembly and the open shelf. There’s a divider between the two drawers and under the bottom drawer, and then an open shelf a few inches off the floor. Perfect for a stack of books or other items.
